As at March 25, 2009

Construction: Since the last report the structural steel erection has been completed, and bolting and detailing of the main floor for tiles 1 and 2 is complete.  Decking of second floor to be completed this month, underground site mechanical is underway and will be complete prior to the end of this month.  SOG for tile to be completed before end of month.  Exterior steel stud is underway on tile 1 and boarding has started.  Temporary power has been installed on site.  Grading of the site to the North East of the school to match parks grading is underway.

Design:  “Issued for Construction” drawings have been completed and issued to all sites for use.  Some changes are being made through RFI’s and Site Instructions.  

As at: February 25, 2009

Construction: Since the last report the masonry firewalls have been completed to the second floor level, structural steel erection has commenced, and the shallow mechanical piping under the floor slab in tile 2 and tile 3 have been completed.

Design: Issue for construction drawings and specifications have been issued with site instructions being issued to deal with any concerns. Issue for contract drawings and specification will be released shortly.

As at: January 25, 2009

Construction: Since the last report the elevator shaft has been completed and remaining foundation piers have been poured. The survey of the anchor bolt layout and hoarding for the masonry trade have been completed, and the masonry is underway.

Design: The design has advanced over the past month with the completion of many specific details and the specifications.

Construction: Foundations and backfilling have been completed. Mechanical and electrical under slab work is complete and the elevator shaft is underway.

Design: Drawings have progressed to 95% complete and issued for construction review drawings have been posted.

As at: November 25, 2008

Construction: Earthwork commenced on site October 20, 2008 and excavation for the foundations is underway. The pad footings and piers are underway, and backfill is following. The grade beam formwork has commence and under slab mechanical and electrical will begin late November and continue into December as well as slab on grade preparation including granular material. Masonry will commence mid to late December.

Design: Since the last report period, design has advanced and is now 86% complete. Over the next month we anticipate having the design complete to I.F.C. drawings.
