As at March 25, 2009
Construction: Since the last report structural steel and metal decking have been completed. Masonry has been ongoing and is close to completion for the exterior walls and washroom areas. All exterior main and second floor walls are studded with the majority of board installed, interior studs are being installed in tile 1, and the second floor slab has been poured. Exterior cladding has commenced with install of air/vapour barrier. Mechanical and electrical rough-ins to main and second floor are on-going, and site mechanical service installation is underway.
Design: “Issued for Construction” drawings have been completed and issued to all sites for use. Some changes are being made through RFI’s and Site Instructions.
As at: February 25, 2009
Construction: Since the last report structural steel has been completed and metal decking is nearing completion. Masonry is ongoing and is close to completion for the exterior walls and washroom areas. Tile 1 main and second floor exterior walls are boarded and the second floor slab has been poured. Mechanical and electrical rough-ins have commenced.
Design: Issue for construction drawings and specifications have been issued with site instructions being issued to deal with any concerns. Issue for contract drawings and specification will be released shortly.
As at: January 25, 2009
Construction: Since the last report structurual steel erection has been ongoing, the metal deck on the second floor and roof tile 1 have been completed. Masonry has started, and installation of the exterior steel stud walls has commenced.
Design: The design has advanced over the past month with the completion of many specific details and the specifications.
As at: December 25, 2008
Construction: Site grading has continued and structural steel erection has commenced.
Design: Drawings have progressed to 95% complete and issued for construction review drawings have been posted.
As at: November 25, 2008
Construction: Grade beams and pile caps are complete, with shallow underground complete and has been inspected. The under slab electrical rough has been complete and the concrete slab on-grade complete. The water service installation will commence next week. Site grading is currently underway and is 50% complete. The structural steel will commence in December and finish in January.
Design: Since the last report period, design has advanced and is now 92% complete. Over the next month we anticipate having the design complete to I.F.C. drawings.
