- Split face block has been delivered to site.

- Masonry firewalls have been completed.
- Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and sprinkler rough-ins have continued.
- Roofing has started.
- Fire proofing has started.
- Vapour barrier in areas with split face block have started.
- Interior steel stud on the main floor is near completion.
- Blocking for millwork, white/tackboards, etc. is ongoing.

As at March 25, 2009

Construction:  Since the last reporting period concrete topping has been installed to the second floor, which completes the slabs in the building.  Exterior steel stud has been completed to the main floor, boarding is underway on main floor.  Masonry has commenced for interior walls.  Mechanical and electrical rough-ins to ceiling space have commenced.

Design:  “Issued for Construction” drawings have been completed and issued to all sites for use.  Some changes are being made through RFI’s and Site Instructions. 

As at: February 25, 2009

Construction: Since the last reporting period erection of structural steel has been completed. Bolting and detailing of structural steel is continuing and will be completed in early March. Installation of metal decking to the second floor level is complete. Installation of roof deck will be completed shortly after bolting and detailing of structural steel is complete. Mechanical and electrical rough-ins to the second floor deck have commenced in preparation for second floor concrete slabs. Main floor exterior steel stud and drywall have commenced.

Design: Issue for construction drawings and specifications have been issued with site instructions being issued to deal with any concerns. Issue for contract drawings and specification will be released shortly.

As at: January 25, 2009

Construction: Since the last reporting period, the masonry work to the fire walls has been completed to the second floor level on both ends of the building, erection of structural steel has commneced and grading to the modular area at the south end has been completed.

Design: The design has advanced over the past month with the completion of many specific details and the specifications.

Design: Drawings have progressed to 95% complete and issued for construction review drawings have been posted.

As at: November 25, 2008

Construction: Since the last reporting period grade beams and pile caps have been completed. Installation of insulation to the grade beams is approximately half complete, while backfill is following behind. The elevator shaft will be complete near the end of November. Under slab mechanical and electrical rough-ins are now well under way, as well as preparation for the interior slab on grade. Weather permitting, all interior slab on grade should be complete before the Christmas break. Masonry is scheduled to begin the second week of December on the end walls that interface with the portables.

Design: Since the last report period, design has advanced and is now 86% complete. Over the next month we anticipate having the design complete to I.F.C. drawings.
