As at March 25, 2009
Construction: Over the last month the south masonry fire wall and the exterior block walls in the gym have been completed. Structural steel erection has been completed. Metal deck on the roof and second floor have been completed. Exterior steel stud and board, mechanical and electrical rough ins of the second floor have commenced and are on going.
Design: “Issued for Construction” drawings have been completed and issued to all sites for use. Some changes are being made through RFI’s and Site Instructions.
As at: February 25, 2009
Construction: Over the last month the north masonry fire wall has been completed. Structural steel erection has been completed with the exception of plumbing and torqueing of the roof.
Design: Issue for construction drawings and specifications have been issued with site instructions being issued to deal with any concerns. Issue for contract drawings and specification will be released shortly.
As at: January 25, 2009
Construction: Since the last report the elevator walls are complete to the under side of the roof. The deep underground has now been completed. Grading for the modulars is also complete.
Design: The design has advanced over the past month with the completion of many specific details and the specifications.
As at: December 25, 2008
Construction: Excavation and backfilling for the pile caps and grade beams has been completed. Formwork for the pile caps and grade beams is complete. Elevator walls are poured to the second floor level.
Design: Drawings have prgressed to 95% complete and issued for construction review drawings have been posted.
As at: November 25, 2008
Construction: Piling is now completed (excluding screw piles). Excavation for grade beams is now complete. Formwork for grade beams is on going with 50% of them being completed. Elevator pit slab has been poured with the walls beginning early next week.. Excavation for the pile caps has started and form work will begin by the end of the week. Over the next month it is anticipated that the grade beams will be 100% complete along with the pile caps. All of the backfilling will be complete and ready for steel. Expected delivery date of steel on site is January 12, 2008.
Design: Since the last report period, design has advanced and is now 92% complete. Over the next month we anticipate having the design complete to I.F.C. drawings.
